23 miles in extreme wind, but 65F temperatures.
I'd rather be swimming...biking...running...and eating cheesecake...

It was 48-54 and sunny in Texas so I thought it was a good time to ride. Proof that us native Texans are wimps, I wore a wool skull cap, tights over shorts, long sleeve jersey (mid weight), light base layer, glove liners and a cycling jacket. I was cozy the entire 30 miler.

I think it was possibly my last ride of the year so put my down at 2238. Way down from 3500 last year but oh well.

I got in a nice ride yesterday, went up Diablo. Coming down was chilly though.

Today I got on my dirtbike instead.

43 miles, windy but warm. I started before dawn to get another glimpse at the holiday lights.

It was warm (60s) but WINDY! 17 miles out and back on a spit between two rivers ending at the Chesapeake Bay. Amazing headwinds and side winds. Short distance, but it took alot of time and it was hard work. I had a big slice of angel food cake when I got home! yum.

I wasn't even planning to go out for a ride yesterday but it was so nice out I had to get a quick ride out to the bay & back on the Alameda Creek trail - only about 10 miles but it made me happy.

Then LeeBob and I drove way down to Moss Landing for a fabuous seafood dinner at Phil's. We shared Dungeness crab and fried oysters - that really made me happy.
