Congratulations on the round number Oakleaf!
Congratulations on the round number Oakleaf!
Yay Oakleaf! 3500 sounds great. I should keep track next year and see what kind of milage I actually am doing. I'm sure it's nowhere near that!
Great for all of you for getting out there. Roads are still way too scary here for riding. Only partially plowed, and there is snow and gravel piled everywhere on what should be the white lines and side of the roads. Maybe in about a month!?
Someone ride for me and tell me how it is!
Everyone Deserves a Lifetime
I just rode 25 miles in my living room on rollers. BO-RING! But it was a good workout. Our roads are melting off, but there's so much gravel that it would be impossible to stop at the bottom of the hill. Missing my mark of 3000 by 150.![]()
Tis better to wear out than to rust out....
23 miles in extreme wind, but 65F temperatures.
I'd rather be swimming...biking...running...and eating cheesecake...

18.44. First ride since Dec 6th. I forget how much I love it!
Be yourself, to the extreme!
It was 48-54 and sunny in Texas so I thought it was a good time to ride. Proof that us native Texans are wimps, I wore a wool skull cap, tights over shorts, long sleeve jersey (mid weight), light base layer, glove liners and a cycling jacket. I was cozy the entire 30 miler.![]()
I think it was possibly my last ride of the year so put my down at 2238. Way down from 3500 last year but oh well.

I got in a nice ride yesterday, went up Diablo. Coming down was chilly though.
Today I got on my dirtbike instead.
