We swapped gifts last night (we'll meet up with the family later to exchange with them). My honey got me the coolest HRC sweatshirt! And an itunes card...fun!

Off work in 4 hours.... then I get to rush home to wake up the household and open gifts! I think a friend was going to drop off cinnamon rolls to bake in the morning (feeling sorry for us cuz I'm working I think!).

I made home-made dog biscuits all day on Wednesday to give to the neighbors and friends. Can't wait to go distributing! I made Cheese ones, Peanut Butter and Oatmeal, and Sweet Potato and 7 grain cereal biscuits. All were made with whole wheat and eggs and olive oil. It was kind of fun. And my dog was SO happy to get to be the guinea pig and taste them all! She approves!

    Merry Christmas all!

After a few well placed hints - ok, I went to the TE website and showed my DH what I wanted - I got a Biker chick jersey and some sockguy socks! Just what I wanted! Maybe that will motivate me to get off my behind and ride that bike. I am a wimp when it comes to cold weather, but some friends and I have been talking about doing a Frostbite Ride in early February, and that is not going to happen if we don't do some riding between now and then.

    Merry Christmas, ya'll!

My parents got me two cool things: Trekking Poles and an electric wine opener. There were several smaller gifts that were neato but those were the main ones. DOH! I forgot they gave me a balance ball to work on my core! When I sent my mom a picture I wrote "I know it looks weird but I want this!"

DH's mom always finds neat things. She got me a book on weird places in Texas, a book she enjoyes, Panda slipper socks and box of 10 different jigsaw puzzles ranging from 500-1000 piece.

Nothing cycling related. I got a rainsuit for my motorcycle, a windshield bag(also for the motorcycle), 2 - 1/4 zip fleece tops, a Yamaha hoodie, diamond stud earrings, and a watch. I bought myself a Garmin GPS(also for the motorcycle).

I guess I'm not the only 'motorcycle rider' here.

I already had my Christmas present a couple of months ago, a lovely new laptop, purely out of necessity, I mean, who can live without a 'puta these days!

So, I was more than excited when I received a super new mobile, an LG Shine...........and shine it does.

My other all time favourite present was a really unusual cat ornament although it can be used for hanging jewellery on it, bought by my little 6 year old Grandson, he chose it himself, so of course I absolutely love it.

I am hoping my new bike is on order http://www.singletracks.com/blog/?p=1333

Had some money given to me, so decided to buy a few CD's, somewhat bizarre selection:

Live And Dangerous: In Concert - Thin Lizzy
Taller In More Ways - Sugababes
The Ultimate Trance Album - Various
Buddhist Chants & Peace Music - Jim Long Uen

I forgot my in-laws gave us an ironic Christmas Ornament. It is a Texas A&M Plane being flown by Santa, tag said "Victory Express" and the plane has football helmets. We were 4-8 this year, plane must have had faulty navigation.

I got some very thoughtful presents! My dh got me slippers i really wanted and 2 dvd's I have REALLY wanted. One called "the heart of the sea" from a show on pbs called independent lens. Really good! and "Chris Issac Christmas special". A really neat purse from our best friends. Assorted other little thoughtful gifts. As well as really snuggly throws that have come in handy since it is chilly here on the central coast! A nice christmas!
Blessed are the flexible, for they shall not be bent out of shape.
