We've had 11 inches of snow in the past week, and we're expecting a couple more inches today, and more during the week. This is the most/longest snow accumulation since 1968, here in Portland. Looks like we're gonna have a White Christmas this year :-) I'll try to take some pics today and post them later.

Oh well, i grew up in a tropical country where there has been no snow in my life. What a shame haha. But wait, in the highest land of our country, there is even ice rain in the coldest days of winter and sometimes snow or hoarfrost im not very clear. Anyway, i love winter

About a foot of snow here. Going snowshoeing tomorrow with a Land Conservancy group.

We have snow, lots of it. It's getting close to 3' I think. Daughter and I went snowshoeing yesterday. It was great fun. Brought the dogs along too. One went totally nuts romping through the deep snow. The other one, the one with the 6" legs, had to stay in our tracks.

I'd love a nice deep snowfall. The last, deepest one I remember ever in Arkansas was 13" in about 1986. When I was growing up in Chicago, I remember snow up to my second story bedroom window!

Must be a Canadian thing - I live in the US now and asked my students how many have had/done a facewash (they are 11th and 12th grade) none had ever heard of it and we only live 50 mi South of the border

We have snow - we have cold (it is after 1pm and still -17 F or about -27 C but warmed up from -24 F, -31 C, 2 hours ago)
I am envious of all of you who can go skiing, snoeshoeing, cycling, hiking etc
all we can do is jumpstart our cars.
It's about the journey and being in the moment, not about the destination

I am freezing just looking at that photo. It was 78 here on saturday afternoon, and was 34 this morning when I went to work. This south wind, north wind REALLY has my body confused. My poor dog is blowing her coat.
And Christmas is supposed to be back in the 70's.... go figure.
