I haven't been in a theatre since 2007 (August). I do like going to the arts theatre once in awhile, but it's not that close to me. We get almost all indie films from Netflix anyway.
I have never been a movie buff; can't sit that long!

Oh, I LOVE watching movies in real theatres. I'm a drama hound, I love being in a huge room with lots of other people, awesome screen, wrap-around sound. I got quite indignant when my 11-yr-old would rather watch Narnia (which was one of my favourite books) from the couch at home than the Real Thing! With Lots of Sound and Action!!
Some of my best movie experiences are from going to see a movie alone. I can still remember staggering shocked and silent out of "Platoon".

I saw Milk when it first opened and it was as good as the reviews had promised. Highly recommended for at least ten different reasons, not the least of which is it restored my faith that some people enter politics for all the right reasons.
