I think there's a ghost in my house

Yeah, I got one of those 'ghosts' too, in a photo of our bedroom....it's the thing that looks like a full moon on the wall, just to the right of the left hand window:

I once heard a moan in my old house. I was happy to not hear it a second time. Talk about creepy.

When I lived in the foothills of Colorado, many of my neighbors and I had lots of ghosty experiences...things like the TV or bathtub jets turning on by themselves full volume at 3 a.m. We consoled ourselves by deciding there was just a lot of "energy" swirling around up there...who knows, but for us, it always felt benevolent or, at least, not harmful.

Yeah, our ghost seems mostly harmless. The last thing we heard of him was a fart from an empty room.

Yes, all of the dogs, people and the cat were accounted for and none of us were in the general area from which the sound eminated. We were relieved that a smell did not accompany it.
