I ordered Christmas gifts online from LLBean to be shipped to my sister. When sis said the package hadn't arrived, I checked the tracking and it indicated 'Delay Beyond Our Control'.when it arrived in Billings. It then took two more days to get to my sis 50 miles away...

At least on mine they told me what happened. & it doesn't really look like they are going to be delayed that much.

Train derailments happen all the time outside of Chicago. Fortunately for you, it sounds like this one cleared up quickly. In work in the Supply Chain Mgt field and have had material stuck on a derailment for over a week.
