    Dec 19th rides!

Since we're in for about a foot of snow, which is about to start falling any minute now, I rushed to get in what may be my last ride for several days. Since I was already over my goal of 100 miles for the week, I just did my 18 mile loop. It was almost 30º, but the windchill made my feet wish I'd put on a third pair of socks. Luckily, the wet spots on the road were not frozen, so I was able to ride over everything.

I saw only one other rider, I guy on a mtb, probably going to the store. I'm sure Sarah was out, but I figured she was keeping it close to home today and our paths wouldn't cross.

Now it's cookie baking for the rest of the day! I love snow days!

100 miles per week???....wow, you GO, girl!

Yes we are supposed to have snow starting any minute now too, and we're supposed to get between 8-14" by the morning. Very cold as well- the next few days will be high in the 20'sF and lows every night in the teens.

Getting my balaclavas, snowpants, snowshoes and gaiters ready.....

I just hope the power doesn't go out again!

Yes, I went out earlier for a 20 mile spin before the snow. It started falling within the past hour and the ground is already white!

Glad everyone is getting their "last minute" rides in!
I've been on the trainer for two weeks or more now -- either due to rain or snow or ice. I do miss the road though! Ride for me!!!!

Just the usual Wednesday morning loop with da boyz. Thankfully the roads were dry today. I hate damp gritty sand that gets in EVERYTHING. A larger group than usual today, a visitor from Vermont, someone new to the group, 7 of us in all. Definitely challenged my paceline skills.

If I stick with it I could still hit 3500 total miles for the year...

Headed for the woods and did just under 10 miles on the mtb. The weather felt almost like early spring today.
