As a bonus the long rail that the hook goes on also can support baskets (handy for mail!) and other hooks for purses etc. The whole thing was pretty cheap (under $50) and as a bonus all the hooks can be rearranged w/o making additional holes in the wall. You can also use the hook w/o the rail and it also folds up agains the wall to get out
