    Yikes!

I glanced a the bicycling link that mm provided and saw this:

    I LOST 20 POUNDS
    The Racer: Tom Danielson
    The Body: 5-foot-10, 130 lb.

    Good grief - 130 lbs on a 5'10" frame. That's nearly emaciated!

Huh. I plugged 5'10" and 130 lbs into a BMI calculator and it came up with 18.7 -- 18.5 or less is considered underweight.

So I guess he's not as emaciated as I thought. Still ...

My brother is 5'9" or 5'10" and weighs about 140, maybe up to 150 since finding the beer and hitting 30. He doesn't look too emaciated but he is one thin boy. My husband is 6'2" and 175-180, his family thinks his Crohn's is causing him to be malnourised. They don't see his love handles (he would kick me for saying that!

I couldn't handle the way those pros eat I love Mexican food and good cheeseburger plus a nice glass of wine or a beer. I am on the Vaughters retirement diet.

Just one reason why mountain bikers are more fun than racer boys - cheeseburgers and beer.
    OK, that's two reasons.

My DH is actually more of a mountain biker. He likes that post ride for the race is a burger and a beer. Probably why he isn't under 170.
