Border collie mixed with who knows what. Papillon definitely comes to mind, but the mechanics of that union baffles me. Perhaps Australian Cattle dog (he has a bark like one--kindof high pitched).
Hahahah!! Batman dog! I love it. I could call him Bruce.
He's 3 years old and very well trained. He's my first dog since I was in high school, so he knows alot more than I do. I got him from a Border Collie rescue organization. He's a good watchdog, too.
The name he came with is Shadow, but I wanted to change it for various reasons. He already REALLY knows his name, so I couldn't call him Luke (or Bruce) or something completely different. It was either Shiloh or Chicago.
Whoo-hoo!!

Shiloh is adorable. He looks like Mr Personality Plus! Since you say he is smarter than you are perhaps he can teach you a few tricks. He seems very content and happy. I predict you two will become best friends.
