Well it's true- cycling and exercise makes you healthier and better feeling all over and in every way. My husband bikes as well, and yes it's all a joy to us.

I was out of shape for years before I started biking and walking 2 1/2 years ago. (I'm 54 now) One of the more interesting benefits I found when I started fitness walking (before I got my bike and was still only walking) is that believe it or not it reduced the times I needed to get up and pee in the middle of the night. That was unexpected and very cool! I also noticed I was no longer sore and 'creaky' in the morning when I got up. Didn't need to 'thaw out my bones' in the morning- now I can just jump out of bed feeling good.

Well, I don't know if this always applies, since now I seem to be at the point where I am a little creaky in the AM and I need more recovery time from all sports...
But, I laughed when someone said that we are so uninhibited about discussing this. Once I was with some cycling friends, along with some "regular" friends. The non-cycling people were shocked at the level we were discussing our bodily functions, along with other assorted personal things, like peeing in the woods.
I even talk about this stuff with my exchange student son, who is a cyclist, but only 23 years old... I have intimate knowledge of his entire digestive system!

I guess it depends on the family upbringing about this type of stuff. As a kid, I used to be bewildered when my parents used to joke or laugh about certain jokes. Yea, real peasant humour. Now I know..

But come on, being in big family of 8 with only 3 bedrooms in house,...you can't be too far away from each other.
