I've been taking mechanic classes from my LBS so I have some tools on my wish list. Of course a bike stand would be extra fabulous too.

A few of us were discussing how handy it would be for the LBS to have a gift registry. They have all our info in their computer system anyhow so why not put some gift suggestions in the extra spaces.

Christmas came early for me in the form of a fluid trainer this past weekend (Cheap find from CL)!
So the new and amended list now asks for spinerval DVD's.

My Bike Friday was Christmas and birthday, but I have asked for the Graham Watson calendar. I love the pictures.

I know a gift is a gift, and greatful we should be regardless, however...

It would be nice to see some of the relative gift $ that ends up going to waste be for something I actually want. I try and try and try to tell em, hey... I have enough "kitchen stuff" to last 10 women for 10 years (it's a sick control thing really, bleah)...

*g*e*a*r*, umm gift cards to get gear, cash to get gear...

Think I'll plan ahead to donate things this year. It would give me the gift of riding with a lighter heart that someone else got use out of it.

I didn't ask for any cycling related stuff...

I had a whole list, but then I crossed half of it as I ended up buying those things myself (saddle for my horse, new pair of riding boots, etc).

I still want the new Macbook but figured now won't be a good time to ask with the current economy. Plus we also had a lot of moving expenses (buying new furniture, etc).

Since it is also my birthday on January 2, I said he could combine the xmas gift with my birthday gift. So a month's worth of riding lessons, and him doing the dishes (or putting them in the dishwasher) for a month

I just bought myself a Madone, so I'm definiltey covered in the Christmas-present-to-self category. I'm asking for a set of Conti Gatorskins and for some tools...not bike tools, but regular tools. I want a small power saw of some kind. Lately I've been doing some home improvement projects, like patching the roof on my shed, where I've had to improvise because I don't have any way to cut wood.

I kind of wish we'd get away from presents in our family. There aren't any little kids, and I think it's kind of silly for all us adults to buy for each other. But that doesn't stop me from giving out a few suggestions here and there

I have all the cycling stuff I need and so much other..well, stuff, right now. I've been so blessed to have a family that has really helped me out a lot while i've been unemployed, and I know a lot of people who are not so lucky and on the verge of losing everything. I'm thinking of asking my family to give an anonymous donation to people we know in dire need. I'd like a Macbook, but that's really a "want" vs "need."

Because I want to downsize our house, I have asked for consumables. I already have enough Stuff I have to find a place for.

Wine is good, as is chocolate or gourmet pasta. Really good tea is always appropriate for me.

Clothing counts as a consumable. Fun socks, cool tops. Gloves.

    Bike shop gift certificates.

I'd be happy with a gift in my name for a good charity. (I wouldn't have to find a place to keep that!)

The only bike-related stuff I asked for was a pair of yellow lenses for my Oakley Flak Jackets and donations to the 2009 Livestrong Challenge.

My personal trainer just started bike commuting, so I bought him a pair of warm wool socks (organic), a blinky light and a couple of spare tubes.

We're giving each other leather bar tape for the tandem.
And cases of yellow label so we're ready for post-ride celebrations.
