    It has been rumored for a couple of months because that is what we had planned for DH's late April birthday.

    I was reading in the NY Times earlier today about how many sports are having sponsorship and thus, financial problems. The LPGA was prominently mentioned in that article.

    The Tour is/was in my backyard. I'm especially bummed because it would have been my only chance to see Lance back in action. Plus, we were planning on camping out for a few stages. Grrr.
    For 3 days, I get to part of a thousand other journeys.

    Yep, I've been to it a few years back when Lance retired. I'm not surprised though, maybe a year off will help get them reorganized because it really is a nice stage race. The start points are usually near me and easy to get to. Jenn
