Good news on your honey's recovery.

My day started out great too-
I awoke to DH leaning over the bed and saying "Let's go for a nice brisk walk!"
Now... he NEVER wants to go for a walk- always prefers to bike. So this was mighty unusual!
It was only 28F degrees though, so we bundled up pretty well and went for a GORGEOUS 4 1/2 mile sunny cold walk to start the day with. It was delightful and so invigorating, and we dressed just right (i love when that happens).

I woke up in my recliner bed with both arms hurting. Crud. It feels like one step forward, two steps back. Maybe I've been overdoing it. I dunno.

    howdy

So this is where everyone is!
Good news is I had a new PR on my 1/2 Marathon this weekend (posted in Running discussion)
Bad news..back at work. I would rather run a 1/2 marathon or a full marathon every day than work!
Oh, but more good news: 4 day work week this week, 3 day work week next week, then another short week and I am off to Vegas.
    Yes, I can DO THIS!
    Oh, yeah...back to work....big sigh!

yes a lot of us are at work. But that's better than unemployment.
I don't think i'm going to be doing any bike commuting this week. Rain, fog and darkness in the morning. NAH. Meanwhile the intrepid Raleighdon just called me, halfway through his legends, superstitions and ruins bike ride in Arizona.

he just called, he's got 10 miles to go, he's no longer in the wild desert. I think he's going to make it.
and he says it's not dark yet?! It's almost dark here and it's an hour earlier.

i don't think I'm getting anywhere on the PT front, either.

In other news, I put a lawyer on retainer yesterday. Let the games begin!
