I guess you are not riding with a tail wind? Then it would be SPEEDY!

    Guilty

Haven't been bike commuting..for awhile. And today was warmer...it wasn't as windy where I would have been riding.

(That's why I didn't enlist myself on this thread for the commuter challenge. Getting away from a noisy, muddy construction site in the winter, with rain..the last thing I want is to ride in pouring rain after walking, taking bus, commuter train.) I do get home faster without cycling, in truly crappy weather).

But today was no excuse ..except another excuse 2 meetings that induced more stress...there's nothing like a feeling where one's future actions/decision will mean thousands of dollars to an organization. Night riding in the dark even with lights, requires more concentration...and abit more tension for me where I ride since it means being more hyper alert in wooded park areas, etc. I didn't really need that feeling/tension tonight.

I can only console myself that all my walking to commuter stations, bus stop round trip is a form of exercise...just commute walking alone adds up to 1 hr. per workday.

This morning it would have been a headwind.

I actually didn't ride in the end because winds of that speed mean that there's big douglas fir branches flying around all the way to work. I took the bus. But now that it's calmed a little (40 kph winds) I wish I had my bike to ride home. That would have been wicked!!!

I didn't ride neither. Out at the airport, there was a wind warning of 50 - 70km/hr wind. I was wondering if you rode today too Pretty crazy weather. And I remember riding with you at 20km/hr wind and I almost blew into traffic over the bridge

    Carpool today for me.
