A (young) woman went to Las Vegas and got this tattoo. Obviously she intended for it to say "no regrets" but the tattoo artist was either dyslexic or just a poor speller.
in searching for the news story I came upon this website. Equally entertaining and astonishing.

I work in a huge library, one of the small departmentals here is the Asian Library, they are constantly having students ask them to "read" their Asian character tats...apparently there are LOTS of mistakes.![]()
Haha- the place where I get my tattoos is called No Regrets. I'll have to tell my artist about that one.
Too funny! I loved the gun in the belt!

Personally, I like the one of Pee Wee. We have a standing joke about him in our house...
I am still old enough to not really love tatoos, but to each his/her own. But I have to disagree with the statement I read in the article that they don't affect job offers. Yes, they do. I have heard more than one person in a position to pass judgement on this say that a tatoo really turned them off of the person. It's a prejudice like anything else, but maybe people should realize that it's out there.
I got one that I have "regerts" about when I was young and wild. It's on my upper arm and is a parrot with a tail that is really a marijuana leaf. My DH's name is under it. Now, i can't wear anything that is sheer or sleeveless--including swimsuits--because I'm embarrassed about it. Imagine explaining to someone why a pastor has a marijuana leaf tattooed on their arm
But, if that skull tattoo in that article wouldn't impact a job interview, I don't know what would!
Yup, I do not make hiring decisions at my company but I will say I form judgment on tattoos on new employees. I have a yellow rose on my ankle. You better believe I tend to wear dark hose to interviews. You barely can see the tattoo if I am wearing hose anyway and I prefer skirts for interviews. Then again I am old school and hate a formal skirt without hose, I think it is so much more polished to put on hose. I wear a black dress to funerals with black heels and panty hose (not always black but sometimes). I am only 27 but I was raised that ladies wear hose and slips (I don't wear slips anymore). My mother is a southern belle no matter how much she defies it.

Squirrel, I'd say that tattoo makes your message all the more authentic.

Thanks for the comments, especially Tuckervill! That's one way to look at it!
No, I didn't do it myself--I got it when we were living in Cali in the "wild 80s". Can't afford to have it removed and wearing sleeves is cheaper. Years ago, my mom saw it through a T-Shirt I had on, and I thought she was going to die! She didn't recognize the tail for what it was but just the thought of her "baby" having a tattoo was too much![]()
Aggie, I too am of the panty hose persuasion, but I am slowly giving up this dying tradition. I go from bare legged to tights, with only a short window of panty hose now. What I noticed is that here in the east, no one wears panty hose as soon as it's like in the 40s or 50s. I can't go bare legged at that temperature, and it's generally too warm for tights then. I only really wear hose on dress up occasions, though, as I have never had a job that required them. In AZ, everyone wore hose, even when it was 115 out.
I still wear a slip because I don't like my skirt sliding up my azz and clinging to my tights, especially in the winter!
