Thanks so much to cycling-sarah, who today found the red presta valve cap that I lost yesterday while changing my flat. I know I don't need it, but I cherished that little guy. Just when I was about to give up on the seemingly impossible task of finding it in the grass on the side of the road, she found it. It's good to have friends with eagle eyes, who don't think it's dumb to have sentimental attachments to valve caps

I'm thankful for having leave piled up that I "have" to use. I'm even more grateful that my husband does as well and actually is burning it with me.

I'm thankful for having a mom that dropped everything and drove 6 hours to come and take care of me and my kids when I put my back out last week since my hubby is gone. It was a blessing to have her here and I couldn't have done without her.

    This is a great thread.

I am thankful that I changed my lifestyle so that I could be where I am today. Every day I thank my lucky stars for it.
I can do five more miles.

Seems like we can all use a little dose of the good vibes thread today!

I'm thankful for the 2 cute kitties who have joined my life recently.

Also thankful for clear roads, great health, and the smell of the ocean. Sometimes, the last one is bad! Right now, it's fresh and clean.

I am thankful that although my 91 year old Mammaw had a stroke Saturday her prognosis is excellent! My aunt realized it was happening and called EMS in time to get her the "miracle" stroke drug and it appears she will likely have very little permanent damage.

Maggie the wonder dog's levels are elevated but constant and she is still here and still has the potential to be annoying. We wouldn't have her any other way!

The sun is shining today too.

The meadowlarks are busy this morning.
The deer ate from the bird feeder last night.
My beautiful Yoshino cherry tree will be blossoming soon.
