Here's what I wear for running in 15-20 degree temps:
    -wind pants
    -long-sleeved zip-neck T
    -fleece vest
    -light hat or fleece headband
-fleece mittens with long cuffs (I have Raynaud's syndrome so have to pay attention to keeping my hands warm or it will not be a good run)
    -sunglasses if needed
-usually just my regular running socks and shoes although may try some of my hiking socks this year for extra warmth

This seems to work well for my 30-45 minute runs--I start out feeling chilly and then feel "just right" once warmed up. In colder weather or if it's really windy I'd probably add a wind jacket over everything else and possibly tights or long-underwear bottoms under the wind pants.

    Thanks for the suggestions!

I figure I will have to get a neck warmer/mask of some sort. My hubby has a UA one and it seems to work pretty well.

I've also been eyeing the CW-X stuff for a while. But have hesitated to try it because of the cost. I also didn't know if they had insulated tights.

Plain old tights are okay for 20s but anything lower and my legs would be pretty chilled.

As for has gloves and socks, I'm covered there. Thanksfully some of my snowboarding gear is multi-purpose. Yay for saving some $$!

Tomorrow night I'm doing a 5k at a running store so I'll take a look around and see what I can find.

    Urlea,

Christmas is coming . . . Santa brought me a pair of CW-X tights for Christmas last year. Maybe he'll bring you some this year!
