An excuse to eat jelly beans

Promo through the end of the month. You get a free water bottle with the order.

The product comparison doesn't look too bad. I ordered some just for fun (yeah, and the bottle). Sodium is high but no where near as high as Gatorade.

OMG! Food made just for me!

Jelly Bellies have gotten me up many 14k foot peaks and through grueling backcountry ski trips. Though I imagine they might be kind of hard to eat whilst on the bike. Perhaps we need to invent a special dispenser so that you don't have to worry about dropping them (oh, the tragedy)!

Like a Pez dispenser for JBs?

We had a thread going a while back about "calories don't count when . . . " I can add "they provide essential electrolytes."

I'm so excited! For a few years, I was the official Jelly Belly Lady! Seriously, I went to the local Super-Targets and grocery stores, stocking and reordering Jelly Bellys! It was an amazing job! I ate up all my profits though. Oh happy day!

I will have to wait for better flavors, don't like orange or lemon lime now margarita or root beer is a different story.

I was going to order some, but then I saw how expensive the shipping was! But then I found them on eBay for cheaper shipping.

A "bento box" would be an easy way to carry them and snack while on the bike- I use mine for everything!

PS, Hi! I put a post in the intro thread, but didn't say much. MTBer changing into road biker, trying very successfully to lose weight, goal of a road century this year, longest road ride so far is 80 miles on paved trail, longest MTB ride is 50 miles on trail, have done one very very sprint tri, but am the world's worst swimmer, but would like to do more tri's, and furthest very slow run is 50k on trail.
