    Flybe, both cats and dogs can handle salmonella a lot better than we can. So if the cats can eat it and don't get sick doesn't mean we can, especially 24 hours later.

    Having said that, americans tend to err on the side of caution. In Italy, I watch while friends and cousins leave meat out ALL night after cooking routinely.

    Who said anything about cats? I am talking real human experimentation here. I don't try this with anything that is too questionable. So far, so good, no adverse reactions.
