To watch or not to watch

After February 2009 when everything goes digital, I probably won't have TV at all . My antenna works pretty well right now, but I don't get perfect reception as I live in the mountains about 50 miles from the TV stations. I heard that the DTV channels will all be on UHF channels and I don't get any UHF reception. I could get cable or dish, but I don't want to pay for it!!!

DH just informed me last night that our old small tv/vcr combo is not HD whatever, so OMG! *gasp* we can't get stuff while camping next season, we have to do something about that asap!

Uummm... we're "camping"... ya know, to be out near Mother Nature's wholeness and beauty. All I can say is thx gawd I have my mtb bike and trails to ride... alone.
