    Hmmmm - on the off chance that someone from Specialized is listening, since they seem to have responded to consumer complaints about the seams on the Jett saddles -

    My Specialized shoes fit me without heel slip, but only with the ratchet in the tighter position and the strap cinched ALL the way. So that's two of us just in this thread who could use for the ratchet's tighter position to be tighter than it is now. A very simple redesign that would solve a big problem for who knows how many people...

    I don't have the smallest feet in the world, but I agree with you, I crank the ratchet pretty far on Specialized to get them snug, so I have to be careful or the tongue gets all bunched up. But their arch support is superior, so I deal with it.

    Have you moved the strap to the shortest position at the attachment screw too? I think I put mine in the middle notch.

    I don't have that problem. I have the problem that I get some heel slip unless I tighten the ratchet such that my feet go numb/hurt.
