Yeah, dh's first deployment pics were waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay different than these! lol Much more of the terrible conditions. That's why this one really blew me away. Thank you for your husband's service, too, Crankin. And yours, as well.

FYI, Scott is her son, not husband. But yes, lets hope they all come home safe soon! But folks, we can do more than hope, yes, we can VOTE. So, get out there and VOTE to end this senseless war, that's wasting so many human and financial resources.
LET'S TURN TEXAS BLUE!
"My predominant feeling is one of gratitude. I have loved and been loved;I have been given much and I have given something in return...Above all, I have been a sentient being, a thinking animal, on this beautiful planet, and that in itself has been an enormous privilege and an adventure." O. Sacks
Thank you very much.
Scott is home and currently traveling in Australia, headed for Thailand. How did I get kids with such wanderlust????

Not all military families think the same way.
Which is why I stay away from most military related groups...
My son is going back in February for 6 months, home 6 months then one more tour for another 6 months. At least that is the plan. He's on the USS Eisenhower. The only pics I've gotten from him are ones in the ski resort in the desert in Dubai. Now THAT'S cool to a 24 year old!
