A request for your amazing healing energies!

    Hi folks!

DH will be getting an ultrasound on Thursday (we have to drive to another city about 3 hours away for this diagnosis and any subsequent treatment). If it's what the ER doc thinks, he's got testicular cancer.

We've done the reading. It's a very survivable cancer. Nonetheless, this is turning out to be quite the emotional roller coaster...and we've only been on it since yesterday evening!

Any healing thoughts or warm wishes or prayers would be greatly appreciated. He's got a 24 hour team mountain bike race in 3 weeks that he doesn't really want to miss!! (but he'll definitely do what's right for his body)

Thank you, ladies! I'm a pretty optimistic person in general, but one can never have enough of that happy loving light, right?

    Namaste,
    ~T~

Oh, LBTC! Stay strong and don't borrow trouble until you have a diagnosis. It's almost a year since my MS diagnosis and I can still remember that I had to just put it out of my mind until we had a definitive answer. I will keep you in my thoughts and send positive vibes your way. Please post as soon as you can.

Thank you, SK!! <hug> I'll let you all know as soon as I know something. We always travel with the laptop, so if we end up having to spend the night down there for more follow up on Friday, you'll get a post from there!

    Namaste,

I'll be wishing both of you well... I'm from a cancer-surviving family (my dad and my brother both suffered from cancers and survived to tell the tale) and have learned that you can survive those things, and also that sometimes it's not even one (I've had a scare or two for my ovaries - serious cysts). So make sure you don't only contemplate the worst part. And even if the tests turn out positive, remember that oncology has been a long way since the 70s: it's never fun to be sick but it is a challenge that can be tackled successfully (like a hill).

    Take care...

    Lots of love.

I'm sending good thoughts your way too. Cancer is a very scary diagnosis, but I think that the best thing to do is to think positive thoughts plus find a doc who you can believe and trust to do the best thing for your DH.

Healing thoughts from me to your husband also!!!! Yes, think only postive thoughts. If he has it you said the magic word, "it is survivable" and that is what you will hold on to.

Thank you so much, ladies! What a great way to start the day!

The waiting for the appointment is hard, as I'm sure waiting for the results will be, too. All this positive energy really really helps!

We're doing our research on the possibilities and the numbers do look good. Survivability of one kind is nearly 100%, of the other it's well into the 80's. And the surgery doesn't sound terribly invasive, if it's the first kind.

My job as main support is to focus all the energy that would otherwise be worry into healing light, green healing energy, love and support. Since I am a worrier by nature, this is going to take lots of help from all of my dear friends!

So thank you thank you thank you and please keep it coming!

    Namaste,
    ~T~

holding Both of you in my thoughts! sending all the positive good news wishes I can your way!

and Please let us know the results - we're here for you always!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming: "Yeah Baby! What a Ride!"
