I'll be wishing both of you well... I'm from a cancer-surviving family (my dad and my brother both suffered from cancers and survived to tell the tale) and have learned that you can survive those things, and also that sometimes it's not even one (I've had a scare or two for my ovaries - serious cysts). So make sure you don't only contemplate the worst part. And even if the tests turn out positive, remember that oncology has been a long way since the 70s: it's never fun to be sick but it is a challenge that can be tackled successfully (like a hill).

    Take care...

    Lots of love.

I'm sending good thoughts your way too. Cancer is a very scary diagnosis, but I think that the best thing to do is to think positive thoughts plus find a doc who you can believe and trust to do the best thing for your DH.

Healing thoughts from me to your husband also!!!! Yes, think only postive thoughts. If he has it you said the magic word, "it is survivable" and that is what you will hold on to.

Thank you so much, ladies! What a great way to start the day!

The waiting for the appointment is hard, as I'm sure waiting for the results will be, too. All this positive energy really really helps!

We're doing our research on the possibilities and the numbers do look good. Survivability of one kind is nearly 100%, of the other it's well into the 80's. And the surgery doesn't sound terribly invasive, if it's the first kind.

My job as main support is to focus all the energy that would otherwise be worry into healing light, green healing energy, love and support. Since I am a worrier by nature, this is going to take lots of help from all of my dear friends!

So thank you thank you thank you and please keep it coming!

    Namaste,
    ~T~

I think llb is right based on the tremendous number of emails I see for supportive thoughts for your DH and many others. Stay strong, and remember that a plan will present itself when needed. Day by day, as many of my patients teach me.

Hang in there, and best to your DH.
