Thanks so much my SS. I was in the middle of doing a really annoying project at work when the mailman delivered my special package from New Zealand.

I have never had any Ground Effect products before and I think they are really cool.

I've been trying to stretch out my outdoor running for awhile before I switch to the boring treadmill inside. The beanie will be such an improvement in keeping my ears warm compared to the baseball cap that I've been wearing. It is so comfy soft too. Yes, you are right it will also be perfect for snowboarding .... and even the cross country skiing that I keep telling myself I have to get back into again.

The little case is a great size for sports. I recently switched to a smaller cell phone and it slides right into one of the pockets. My phone is even orange and black to match the case ... and there's still plenty of room for other essentials.

    Thanks again SS (Cheryl)

P.S. I finally got my SS stuff all together today and it's going out tomorrow or Monday. I promise .... don't loose hope my SS.

Welcome to the Ground Effect revolution

A big THANK YOU to my Secret Sister! Your package was a much-needed break this afternoon, sandwiched between a history lesson on Henry Knox and the Siege of Boston and an Algebra lesson re: graphing polynomial equations.

Chocolate is THE major food group in our house (for the females anyway), so the truffles were consumed in a flash. The reflective stickers and the lights will certainly get a work-out now that rainy, gray, overcast autumn is here! Getting ready to make some of the tea right now so I can snuggle up and watch the second half of the Colts game.

    Thanks for brightening my day!!!

    Oh GOOD!

Hoosier -- so glad to hear it all arrived in the box! The post office lady was not doing much of a packaging job, and I was afraid all the bits would fall out between here and there and you'd get nothing but stuffing!!!!

    Glad you all enjoyed it!
I have to admit... the truffles ALMOST didn't make it your way, or out of my house for that matter!

I found some neat stuff while I was on vacation. Now that I am home I just need to get it boxed up and dropped in the mail

THANK YOU THANK YOU to my Secret Sister! The first thing I pulled out of the box was the "Big Cheese" socks -- I love 'em! And the t-shirt is super cool, too. Big thumbs up!!! Not to mention the book -- I am not familiar with your part of the country, and had no idea how amazingly beautiful it is. I'm going to have to make it a cycling destination one summer. Looks like an awesome way to escape some of our Texas heat...but I know I couldn't handle your winters. Brrrr.

    Muchas gracias again!

Glad you enjoyed your stuff Jacky. Yes, the winters in the Midwest can get a bit long if you don't find something to keep your mind off the cold and snow. I love snowboarding so at least I can look forward to that once the days get too cold, and the light to short, to do much cycling.

You'll have to make a trip up to WI someday. There are definitely opportunites to do some fun and scenic rides in our area.

Glad that you liked everything. I thought the hand balm would be nice since I know anyone in the medical field usually ends up with terribly dry hands from all the handwashing. Since it is in a nice tin, it is easy to slip into our pocket and have it around when you need it!

As for the blue socks, I just picked out the ones that I would have liked...guess we both have good taste in socks!
