Tell me about it- I have staked out some beautiful rolling fields and trails for snowshoeing this winter- but last winter we only had one deep snowfall! The rest were too wimpy for shoeing. I have to prove to my husband that it was worth it buying us snowshoes!Originally Posted by shellyj

Pffffttt!!!!! It was 40 and sunny and quite WINDY today... and I had the most WONDERFUL brisk 10 mile ride this morning! golden and red leaves flying through the air....It was too chilly to bike today...even though the sun is out, its 50 but breezy. I would go out if it wasn't for that darned breeze...'Too chilly' is more like 20F, not 50! All you need is a bowl of hot oatmeal and some proper clothes, girl!

Oh my gosh surely we aren't out of questions! I am mountain biking all weekend, I am sure I can come up with something. I will think of something stupid and bike related soon.
BTW- the health issues area is booming. Maybe we are all banged up or ill? That is kind of sad.
It hasn't gotten cold enough yet for everyone to start complaining. We are just in a lull waiting to whine.

I really like snowshoeing, but I have to drive somewhere to do it. I can ride my bike from my house, although the county road commission is "fixing" roads before the onslaught of winter. They've ruined almost all the roads we like to ride on.

Oh yeah, I have had a pretty nasty cold, but I've found that all the cold medicine I've been taking has had a performance enhancing effect. I'm an animal!
