"Live, more than your neighbors. Unleash yourself upon the world and go places. Go now! Giggle. Know. Laugh. And bark the the moon like the wild dog that you are!" - Jon Blais
I really wasn't expecting that. It really is good stuff.
Ah, the rollercoaster ride of cancer. It was quite nice to hear that good news today, thanks for pointing us back there. I agree with him that for an oncologist, to be able to give positive news is such a wonderful thing that he wouldn't think twice about the handshake.
Within the first few weeks after my sister's diagnosis with terminal cancer, she said to me very weepy, and for a stoic person that was odd enough - "I feel like I'm on a rollercoaster". My response was "welcome to the world of cancer, buckle up".At least she laughed. And we've been riding that rollercoaster for 17 months now. At her last appt, where we too got good news, I gave my sister's dr his own cycling shirt with my sister's name/our team name on it. He didn't look at it when I was there so I'm anxious to hear what he thought when my sister goes back next week.
You too can help me fight cancer, and get a lovely cookbook for your very own! My team's cookbook is for sale Click here to order. Proceeds go to our team's fundraising for the Philly Livestrong Challenge!
Oh that's fabulous news! Thanks for the heads up.

That's wonderful news! Any good news for someone fighting cancer is a wonderful thing to me this year. I've lost both my brother in law's to cancer in the last 4 months. My sister and sister-in law are so, so sad. It just isn't fair what cancer can do
