I am addicted to TE!! I have met so many nice people on here! I haven’t been posting much lately because I was just in an art show - getting stuff ready for that, and I have an art/talent show coming up in which I will be showing some of my work as well as playing my guitar - so practice music, paint, mat pics, etc. in addition to my full time night job. And I still sqeeze in a 20+ mile ride on my bike every other day. So I have been very busy! And I am still trying to read back through the older posts on TE and learning as much as I can about cycling. I remember living in colder climates and in the winter I would hike as much as I could - anything to be outside in the fresh air - even if it is colder. And I always have my trusty old “dreadmill” for rainy/cold days that I do not wish to get the bike outside.

I'm desperately trying to squeeze in as much as I can of my favourite outdoor activities before the weather turns nasty, and trying to spend less time doing non-essential stuff, like TE - and work

On the motorcycle forums we call it "PMS" - parked motorcycle syndrome. Post traffic goes up and people's dispositions get crankier.

We need a less sexist and more apropos acronym here!

I can talk to you about Texas all winter. Today we are freezing after a cold front, low hovering around 50 and the high will be a blustery 72! Would you like me to come whine about the low of 35-40 and high of 55 in the true winter?

There is no off season in Texas, I just have been doing non-cycling pursuits.

    summer

Mr Silver, i'd be happy to tell you about our lovely yet odd weather here in Western Australia.

Oh, can I also mention I take my doggie to a really cool beach year round. When it's cool outside, she still wants me to venture into the water with her It's not that cold..really..

I'm so happy I get to enjoy summer this year. Last year.. ahgghghg
