Sorry to hear of the fall. I'd ride as soon as the swelling is down.

{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{AB}}}}}}}}}}} I'm so sorry hun! It's one thing to take some time off coz you Want to....another coz you Have to! Sending healing wishes your way my friend!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming: "Yeah Baby! What a Ride!"
Owwie!!
I agree with the advice "get thy butt to a Dr" if things don't improve quickly. If you are cringing and clenching your teeth, there could be more wrong than just some scrapes and bruising. You want to make sure you didn't tear a ligament or a meniscus or fracture the kneecap. There are alot of important structures in there that you don't want to mess around with if you want to keep riding.
Good Luck - Keep us posted![]()
OUCH!![]()
Here's wishing you quick healing and hoping you're back on the bike soon!

Good wishes from me also!!! My friend and I were just saying the other day, that every time we get a pain or or like me twisting my ankle and couple of months ago, the first thing that comes to mind is "oh no, I cannot be hurt, that will mean I can't ride". Yep, everything revolves around our bike rides.

I agree! For some reason it's just worse to lose riding time due to a non-bike injury!Originally Posted by caligurl
