    Jersey Size

I've fallen in love with one of jerseys on this site but i had a bit of a sizing query. I have a large bust but in comparison a small waist so I was wondering am I better to get a size which fits my bust but will be baggier on the bottom or one that will be slightly tighter across by bust but fit better on the bottom.

Depends on which jersey. Post the link so we can all ooh and ah . . . and maybe someone owns the jersey and can advise.

PLUS, the TE folks are really, really good at helping with these kinds of questions. Just give them a call.

Oops, just noticed that you are in the UK. They're also very good at returning emails.

It's the Primal wear Summer Heat or Blue Moon. Any ideas about their sizing?

I wear the Primal Wear mens jerseys so I'm not much help cept............which would be more comfortable for YOU??
I went back to mens jerseys coz the womens always made me feel smashed across the chest and I HATE that feeling. I kept tugging at the 2 womens jerseys I bought and I finally just gave them away!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming: "Yeah Baby! What a Ride!"

I'm built small everywhere but big on top. I'm about a size 4 except for the for the fact that I'm a D (that's after having them reduced down from DDD, no one told me they grow back since I was supposed to be down to a b).

Anyways I hate being smashed down.

I go with the medium tops which is slightly baggy at the bottom (mid section) although the elastic usually is tight enough that they don't move around etc while riding. Size small fits around the waist and up to my gals, however if I zip up a size small they tend to be not so comfy on longer ride in the neck area too much pulling.

I have narrow shoulders as well but the gals seem to make up for the extra room in the mediums.

Does anyone else wear the Primal Wear jerseys? I'm a 42 bust but 34 waist so I'm not sure which size to go for. Are they generous sizing, anyone know?

Curvy, did you email the TE sales staff? I only have sleeveless Primal Wear with princess seaming. It will fit very differently that the jerseys you're looking at.

    Hi Curvygirl,

I just received an order from Primal. I'm a 36D with a 40" chest and 33" waist. "Donna" at Primal told me that their jerseys are supposed to have a women's cut and are not too snug. She recommended the XL for me. I really liked the Tiffany jersey, which is a model from last year and wasn't available in XL, so I ordered the Flutterbike jersey in XL and the Tiffany in L.

The large looks good on me, but it's snug. The XL is more comfy, but unless I keep the zipper closed all the way, the front seems to ride up and back, so I end up having to tug down at the front of my shirt. Another thing to consider is the elastic around the waist (which actually falls much closer to my hips). In the size L that was a bit snug as well.

Primal's sizing chart (http://www.primal-sports.com/Primal-...ING-CHART.html) says that Large fits a 36-38" chest, XL fits 39-41" and XXL fits 42-44".

If I were you, I'd go with an XL.

    Saludos,

    ~Cari

I've got a few Primal Wear jerseys Sorry, I have the Tiffany jersey - and sports bra and shorts! Gotta say that it's my most complimented-on ensemble, and my first official jersey purchase. If only I'd know the jersey monster I would become...

But, I digress. Their jerseys have a snug fit. I'm not as 'blessed' as you are, 34B/C on top, size 4 elsewhere, and the small is evenly fitted - not much more room up top. So, I would suggest buying the size that would fit the bustline. Or... get the size that fits the waist, wear it unzipped, and buy the very cute matching sports bra!
