Marketing women's Cycling Products

I heard back from Veltec, and as I suspected, they're still in the planning stages. I was asked my opinion on patent leather for women. They do a gorgeous men's Ergo in black patent leather. What do you think of something like this in a women's? What about a patent leather in some other color? I saw a red patent leather from Lake that was interesting too.

Blech.
I can't stand patent leather.
Makes me think of being in third grade with my plaid school uniform skirt and knee high white socks.
