Cannondale - What were they thinking?!

The flagship for their women's line (price tag of $6800) looks like this:

Which immediately reminded me of this:

Now, I know wimmin (me included) complain a lot about the choice of colors we're offered, but this one just makes my eyes bleed... or makes me want to brush my teeth.

Kinda weird to use something close to Celeste. Kind of ironic considering Barloworld rode Cannondale in 2007 and switched to Bianchi for 2008.

(I sort of like it. Except I see white bar tape and just picture how it will look after a month or two.)

That's too funny!- I had my browser window set kind of small when I saw just the first picture of the bike- and immediately thought "That looks just like a tube of Colgate toothpaste!"....then I scrolled down and saw the second picture of the toothpaste.

Maybe they were thinking you'd feel that fresh from the dentist clean every time you ride

Hmm... I don't necessarily think it's ugly, but probably not something I'd ever choose for myself.

I showed the picture to my BF without prelude and his reaction was, and I quote, "Ooh, minty!" So yeah, add another to the list of people who thought of toothpaste when they saw it.

LOL - thanks for the laugh.
It's not ugly but I wont ever be able to look at it now without thinking about this thread.

    I don't "Feel It"

Oh my! The first year they brought out the Synapse in WSD I got one and I think it is gorgeous. But this, this is not right to my eyes. Yep, minty fresh is a good description. The red Synapse is on the mint is really getting to me as well.
