Oh CC, "American Werewolf" is graphic (at least by 1980s standards, probably not so much today) but it's hysterically funny!! I bet you would enjoy it if you don't mind cartoon-ish gore.
As for the cormorants, I thought they were anhingas. I keep forgetting the differences between those two. <busy busy, looking it up> okay, I was going to make myself a mnemonic, but the site I found already has a mnemonic! The Cormorant has the curved (hooked) bill (like the letter C) and a continuous flight pattern (cannot soar), the Anhinga's bill is pointy (like the letter A) and it alternates between soaring and flapping. Thanks for putting me onto that!
