I'm such a weenie! My commute is only 2.5 miles to work (13 minutes), and 3.25 coming home (21 minutes).

    I love my commute

Mine is a wimpy mile each way But I love riding my bike and wouldn't give it up for anything I also ride it to the farmer's market, the small co-op store and several other places!

I moved this past summer and when I lived there, it was approximately three miles each way

I will say that longer distances are more daunting when I am feeling a bit under the weather or when I feel I may be coming down with something (especially after a long day)

I have a 3, 3.5 mile commute and it takes me about 20 minutes. It's pretty straight, and there's only a bit of uphill. It's harder to bike nwo though because it's getting pretty cold!

My current route is 12.4 miles one way. It takes me almost an hour to get there, but only about 40-45 min on the way back. The elevation gain to and from work is about the same, it's just that the signal lights are better at 10 o'clock at night than they are during the day. I'm going to try out some new routes that are slightly longer but have less car traffic and fewer overpasses. By car it's about 11 miles and takes 20 min.

Mine is 14 km each way. Going to work takes about 40 mins and coming back about 45 with hills.

Bus would take about the same or longer. And driving during rush hours would take about 25-30 mins.

mine is 16 miles to work -- around 1.5 hours with big hills
back home is around 10 miles (take bus for rest) - around an 1 to an hour 10 minutes depending on wind and signals.

i am doing this since summer, but i still hate that hill on my way to work.
