This year I didn't do all that much as far as organized rides.

    ~Breathless Agony
    ~Everest Challenge

I'm still trying to figure out exactly what I'm doing for 2009. Everest Challenge is my ultimate goal, but that's way late in the season. I needed a spring goal, so it may be the San Diego Brevet Series 1000km brevet. We'll see how I survive the shorter brevets though!

    Jan- 200km brevet
    Jan- 300km brevet
    Feb- 400km brevet
    April- 600km brevet
    May- Breathless Agony
    May- 1000km Brevet
    Sept- Everest Challenge

I might throw some road races in there as well. Still not sure if I will do any crits or not. I guess I'm still in the midst of my cycling identity crisis.

    Hi all -

I started up a Tour di Stupid (Lite) planning thread so this thread can stay more or less on its original topic.

Brandy - I'm actually interested in learning more about Base Training - any books you can point me towards?

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

    Ah, unfinished business.
Hopefully I'll be there to wave hi to you that day*.

(*the Mt Hamilton Challenge covers some of the same route but in the other direction).
