Yeah, I've noticed the blog hasn't had as many updates lately. What's up with that? I love the apple peeler too. We got ours years ago at LL Bean - makes pies so much easier. Maybe I shouldn't talk about pie in this thread....

I think everyone who wants to eat organic should move in with you.

We've got three rooms that could be converted to bedrooms (one of them is already set), but any one moving in is expected to WORK!

Pie - yes...this weekend we will be canning Apple Pie Filling. How cool is that? Homemade apple pie at your fingertips - any time you want it!

    Pardon this interruption...

Thanks, Veronica, for mentioning the apple peeler. GLC, I've been following your blog, or at least I THOUGHT I had been. I check in regularly, and I kept thinking, she must be really busy because this thing is NEVER updated! I want to know about the goats! Come to figure out after Veronica hinted about updates that I had not seen that my bookmark was to the Task Complete post--from JUNE--yeah, I'm not the brightest match in the box. So I have alot of catching up to do.

    back to your regular programming...

    Hey,
Sorry I missed weigh in last week...just a bad week and I think I just ignored the scale.
I forgot to weigh this AM as I will be out of town starting tonight and will miss Friday weigh.
Hey maybe I'll weigh in on Monday after a weekend of eating and drinking and just see how bad I really was.
Hopefully I'll make the weigh in for the last week.
Starting Monday (yes, Monday--post weekend of family parties and all that stuff) I plan to tape my wine refrigerator door closed...maybe w/ that yellow police tape..."Don't Cross this Line"; get more sleep rest (last month of 1/2 marathon training) and eat BETTER. If I eat balanced I won't have to worry about carbs and w/ the running I NEED the carbs. Just good carbs...more lean protein and FRUIT! (And no candy corn!)
I'll report back and hopefully I can stick to what I say!

    urgh again!

I'm at the same weight today, but last week on Sat until yesterday I was back down to 139. I'm wondering how much a Wednesday evening swim for an hour and a Thursday morning hour spin class would affect this. Am I retaining water, are my muscles just repairing?

Sigh. I guess I need to start counting calories.
