    9/21 - 9/27 log

Sun 9/21 - 6 mile walk up Provo Canyon - 16 min miles

    Mon 9/22 - off

Tues 9/23 - 17:35 cardio warm up on treadmill, push ups, core and lower body strength training

Wed 9/24 - 10.2 mile (very painful!) ride. Legs were totally sore from Tues, this ride HURT, but I did it faster than I've ever done that trail.

Thur 9/25 - 30 min. yoga, push ups, core and upper body strength training

Fri 9/26 - 6 mile walk up Provo Canyon

Sat. 9/27 - off - We were going to do a family ride, but I've got two sickos on my hands! My hubby and daughter have colds so I'm playing nurse. So, I didn't get two rides in this week, which is my goal, but I'll live. It was a good week overall.

I LOVE reading this thread, as everyone here is so darn motivated and energetic. Great accomplishments all. Thanks for motivating me. I dropped out of the weekly weigh-ins because my scale was erratic, but I'm anxious to start the next one. In the meantime, I thank you for this motivation!

I'd forgotten about this. It does help me to try to keep track and read everyone else's.

    Let's see:
Sunday: Day off (worked all day).
Monday, Spinnervals on trainer: 60 minutes "aerobic work"; pushups and situps.
Tuesday, Spinervals on trainer: 45 minutes of hill work
    Also: Boot camp.
Wed: Attempted walk/run. Made less than 2 miles and leg HURT so bad!
Thursday: Bike Trainer Spinervals: 45 minutes
    Boot Camp
Friday: Actual ROAD RIDE! Yeah! 70 minutes, 17 miles
    Saturday: Only Push UPs.

Tues 23-off (the washer broke and I had to finish the laundry at the laundromat)
    Wed 24-Butt kicking boot camp
Thurs 25-2 miles on the treadmill
Fri 26-off (BC was cancelled due to flooding)
Sat 27- 2 mile run on the boardwalk, walking lunges, frog jumps, bench step ups, and push ups
Sun 28- 16 miles on Onyx at the Great Dismal Swamp

Not too bad but the lack of running slows my weight loss. That kick of running really helps but my new HR monitor should be in today and I will be out to try it!

    Monday: Commuted home 23 miles
    Tuesday: Pushups
Wednesday: 16 mile road ride, rolling route
    Thursday: Commuted home 20 miles
    Friday: rest
Saturday: 50 mile ride, rolling route. Push ups
Sunday: 7 mile single track mountain biking. Push ups.

    HORRIBLE week

Alright, I've been dreading sending in this post. For some reason I really lost steam last week. Of course, it didn't help that we had a family birthday and I was preparing for / dealing with company in from out of town. I think it became all too easy to use those as an excuse for not working out. Can anyone relate? On the up side....my house got a super cleaning that it really needed!

Sun 9/28 - 17:30 cardio warm up on treadmill (10-12% incline)
    total body strength training

    Mon 9/29 - 3.2 mile walk
    49 pushups

    Tues / Wed - off

Thurs 10/2 - 18 min cardio warm up on treadmill (10-12% incline)
core and lower body strength training
    53 pushups

    Fri 10/3 - off

    Saturday -pushups 58

I only really worked out three days! Well, maybe the mental break will keep me psyched up for the rest of the month of October. I also have a question for you all...Do you have a different "winter weight" goal than you would have for "summer weight"? The weather got cold here for the first time this season and I was reminded how much my appetite goes up. I was wondering if I should give myself a couple of pounds of leeway for the winter months?
