That just made me think of what actually goes into my hair on that rare occasion I do use hairspray...

in the old days when i was young and into motorcycles, we would use compressed air. you put the tip of the nozzle into the hole in the end of the grip and slowly add air. it kinda balloons up and slides right on. no chemicals. of course once i totally blew up a grip - scared the pants offa me!
