I was just admiring KSH's M dot tattoo and was wondering what everyone else had. I currently don't have any tattoos, but I want to get one.

You might want to do some searching - I recall some similar threads where folks posted pictures. They're very cool!

    Since I haven't shown mine...

Since I'm proud to be a native Iowan and the fill is the livery off of the buses I used to drive.

When I worked there, I met a lot of great friends, including my dear husband and built a lot of personal character. I got it last summer before moving off to grad school. I still totally dig it.

My dragon (about 15 hours in with untold hours ahead). It goes up to my hip bone for now and the tail/tail scenery will extend up onto my side and will include stars on a dark background. The dragon itself still looks a little unfinished and will get more detailed shading/scales added once the color is finished:

I have a couple of other little ones, but given the extent of these two, they aren't worth the bandwidth

This is my soul kitty, Bubbles the Wonder Cat (RIP ):

The tattoo is on my calf. It is my favorite picture of her -- she started to head-butt the camera as I was taking the picture. I didn't know at the time that she already had the lymphoma that would claim her a few months later...

This was my 30th birthday gift to myself. It represents home (Kentucky) to me and I love that dogwoods are some of the first trees to bloom in the spring. I also feel like I've embraced my femininity more in the last few years than ever before, and also my strength and the tat reflects that. The artist did the outline in brown ink rather than black, and I love the softness of it.
I also have a tree on my left shoulder, but no pics of it, and a women's symbol with celtic knotwork on my right hip.
I've been jonesing for my next...was going to hold off another two years until my 35th bday, but we'll see.
    I love seeing everyone's ink!

Kie Fujo, you are too cute!!! I love all of your work.

I don't have any photos but my 2 biggest ones are the back of my right calf, I have a geisha dancing in a lotus flower with cherry blossoms falling around her and a cabbage rose with a dagger through it on the inside of my left forearm. I got them both in Japan when I was stationed there for 3.5 years.

I've got a bunch, but here are my bigger pieces:

This was my 30th bday present this past february, a reminder to eat healthy and be good to my body! I've also started doing a lot of home gardening as well. It's my favorite so far.

This one is actually being retouched right now. Much more shading and definition throughout.

    My other sleeve.

It's interesting, because I've lost over 50 lbs since those sleeves were done, and they don't look weird, even though my arms are much more slim now! I also have a small one on my ankle of my dogs paw prints, a few on my back that will be worked into a complete backpiece, and other small design on the other ankle. I love my tattoos

I have two and one I hate so much. I love the design but the guy who did it (from a shop I trusted and used for my first tat) did a crappy job. He complained it was a hard area to do but I think the bigger problem was it is on my somewhat plush hip and it just didn't heal well. It should be a gorgeous purple butterfly but not the normal butterfly you see. The wings are more free form than outlined and colored. One day I will get someone reputable to touch it up and fix it, it is fixable I think. May have to add more color, no cover job I would sooner have it removed.

I have a yellow rose on my ankle, an 18th birthday present from my grandparents. Well not really but I told them if they gave me the standard cash for my birthday I was getting one. What can I say, native Texan and I LOVED the song "Yellow Rose of Texas" by Waylon Jennings and Jesse Coulter growing up. Still love the song and the tattoo. The tattoo is so cliche so I am thinking of adding a bike chain ring behind it to make it mine. Just haven't felt like spending the $$$ or dealing with the healing. The tattooing doesn't bug me, it is the after.

If I got one more it would probably be a gardenia on my back. My Pawpaw took to growing them in his later years and would cut them to send with me because I had a new Beetle with a flower vase. The smell of fresh Gardenias makes me think of him. Or maybe a Pansy since my mom, Mammaw and Great Grandma all have the name and those are some strong women I can only hope to take after.

My mom has a really cool one, I love the art. It is a humingbird flying over a pansy. It is a beautiful tattoo and so her. She got it a few years back, she said after 40+ years (I think she was 48 when she got it) of being a Pansy she had come to piece with the name and embraced herself as a "blooming idiot". LOL. She still goes by her initials.

I have a friend who has some pretty oriental type flower's on her foot. They kinda cascade down her foot from her ankle. Very tastful i think. I would get one too but my dh does not like them at least not on me.
