140 Whoohoo! At this time next week, I should be back down below my "highest acceptable weight" which is 139.
I started the week having gained two pounds doing the MS 150, and I was really careful about not overfueling, so that was discouraging. My theory, not supported by any scientific backing, is that when you do hours more exercise than your body is used to, it says "EEK, We are obviously being chased by predators! Conserve calories and fluids for extra energy later!" Kind of like when people go on crash diets and their bodies think it is famine time. Anyway, that is my theory.
I was careful this week, didn't do any crazy dieting and didn't do a lot of exercise, but still am down 3 pounds since Monday, so it obviously wasn't real fat weight, must have been fluids. I would not have been as motivated to get it off if I didn't know I was weighing in this morning.
