Was he an outdoor or indoor cat?... I'm just curious.

I always have that fear that one day Sampson will jump from the balcony and then I wonder if he'd ever make it back home. He's an indoor cat but I let him out on the balcony where he loves to lay in the sun and chatter at the birds I'm on the 3rd floor condo... he probably wouldn't jump, but you never know.
