Happy bithday, all. I turned 39 on Wednesday and am hoping to embrace my 40s with gusto. I wouldn't go back to my 20s for all the tea in China. I am much happier now than I was then. Regardless, there's no point in worrying about a number or imposing some arbitrary expectation about where you're supposed to be in your life by a certain age. Just make the most of who you are and what you are, regardless of the number of candles on your cake.
Live with intention. Walk to the edge. Listen hard. Practice wellness. Play with abandon. Laugh. Choose with no regret. Continue to learn. Appreciate your friends. Do what you love. Live as if this is all there is.

Yep..age is just a number. I'm 50 and I love who I am and what I do. Embrace each year and you will grow to love who you are. Though the outside may betray me, I still feel very young inside.
