I'm up a bit today - 165.8. That's ok, it's TOTM, so I can't complain. It could be worse.
ASammy1 - if you just started bootcamp and you are sore - your body could be retaining fluids (your muscles, specifically) to repair. I always gain a little when I first change up my workout routine. If you are consistent, I'd bet that by next week, you'll see a drop.

You don't have to be great to get started, but you do have to get started to be great. -Lee J. Colan
I recently remember seeing a fitness site that has a way to track measurements. Maybe do that and only weigh in every 2-3 of weeks to keep the stress down but still know how your doing? I like the idea of keeping track of measurements along with weight because depending on what activities your doing, or if you start working out more, or the more fit you get, your muscle to fat ratio can change. You may weigh a little more, but if your size is going down then that's a good thing.
Don't give up just yet. There is no judging here and you shouldn't be disgusted about anything. Maybe just a new approach to tracking would help motivate you?
Dont really know what to say. Rode the bike x-tra miles this week,walked/jogged with the dogs everyday, went to the gym 2x this week and I have gained a pound. I guess its not a big deal anyways since its my TOTM. So anyways up to 115 this week. Hoping next week will be better!
Thanks for the encouragement GLC1968 and Aggie_Ama! For the record, I am sore, so I hope it is water retention due to muscle repair.
118.5 today. lost 1 lb. keeping a food journal is helping. and having a partner who's also trying to lose a little helps as we are getting out there. we'll be taking my "new" bike for a spin today and then later a short trail run with our dog. We signed up for our first trail run race 8k in Dec. so that's motivation and it helps with his training for cross season and for future tri's for me. i'm also getting on trails with my cross bike for the first time and that's a fun challenge! (I'm a fairly new rider) So trying new things, places and having fun is going to help. Now if only i would be more diligent with my daily PT designated core exercises!!!
Weigh in 9/12/08: 136 lbs
One pound. I'm hopeful that when I start spin class again fall term I'll see a nice big week!
140.2 this morning. I have eaten much better this week and have been drinking alot of water. Hope to continue in this direction1
152.5 this morning. GLC thank you for doing the table again this 2 months!

I have been eating like an out of control pig. All I can figure is that I'm about a week away from that time of the month. I have been trying to take a recovery day from cardio and lift weights inbetween. Which in ways is a good thing. But, I can't keep eating like this without cardio everyday. So, I'm lucky so far the scale only went a little up (wrong way *sigh*). About 124.25 for me on the gym scale this morning. Bleah...
Cbee, do I ever appreciate your comment. I shall look into tracking measurements, as you suggested. This morning when I stepped on the scale, I weighed 188, whereas I usually weigh only 180, so that REALLY blew me away. Seems the numbers change whenever I move the scale to a different location. lol How weird is that?! I'm glad that I am allowed to weigh in intermittently . . . I didn't think I could do that. I'll give it another go.![]()

138.5 for me. I'm in such a bad eating rut, right now. Hope I can kick the habit soon.
Yeah, weighed yesterday, no change. 220. But I haven't been riding or doing anything this week - busy week for me. So I'm glad I maintained.
My bike is my Benz.
125.4 this morning. Down from 126.6, so I'm quite pleased. This has motivated me to get back into eating better. That's made the difference.
