My fairly new cat, Calypso, is definitely settling in. Since my older cats don't want to play with her... she's decided to try to attract my attention when I'm on the computer. Getting on the desk isn't enough, she'll find a paper and start to tear at the corners. Of course I scold her, then with her eyes all dilated, she stares at me, then quick gives my hand or arm a nip or swats me. Never enough to hurt. So then my hand has to respond and we wrestle for a little bit. It's very amusing, and I can almost see her brain working. I KNOW what she's about to do.
