The age restriction is such a shame.

Particularly since we "old broads" are more likely to be established in our careers/lives and to have the $$$ to buy their gear!

I guess I can understand the size requirements. I'm not so sure it's about defining what's "right" but to accurately show the product. Perhaps I'm not explaining it right and it's not to define what a woman *should* look like but it is showing the product instead of the person.

I don't get the age requirement. I've seen people older than me who look younger and I've seen younger people who look older.

It's too bad. I don't really want to be in photos but to be able to product test would be wonderful. I have all sorts of complaints about various undergarments; I've learned that running is much harsher than cycling.

Dex, good luck! You ARE photogenic.

If Moving Comfort checks this thread again, there is a womens only triathlon in Federal Way this weekend (sunday) and a womens only 10K at Greenlake on Sunday. Seems to me those would be perfect places to recruit.

Did I read those measurements correctly? If you're a medium, your boobage can only be a 34B? Or was that not meant to be a table?

Not that it matters....my measurements don't align with theirs anyway.

I stopped reading when I read the age restriction, although at second glance I almost meet the size requirements (except for the D part--I have enough trouble with the girls being a C!). But those size restrictions are pretty limiting!

I had the medium figure 4 years ago but I was miserable on the inside. Would flip out over a candy bar and compulsively work out if I felt I ate bad.

Not saying everyone is like that, just saying I will not sacrifice my sanity again for that awesome figure I had. I am trying to keep a healthy attitude about food, exercise and my body now that I am trying to shape up.

Heh - the 'medium' measurements are basically mine. My waist is smaller, but I'm sure they wouldn't care about that. Too bad I'm too old (and probably too ugly).

I wonder if I could lie about my age? I could pass for 35 (I'm only 40). That would be pretty funny if I got in as a 40 year old. Maybe that would help them see that restricting age is a bad idea when it comes to fitness!

Moving in Comfort People--thanks for getting real people in your marketing materials. Even though alot of us don't fit in your guidelines, I still commend you for going for athletic and healthy real women and not ultrathin, unfit, and unhealthy professional models.

Just in MC's defense, a little: this is a casting call, after all. Maybe they already have enough models/photos of women in midlife and beyond, and in sizes between the ones they're calling for? They don't have a lot of photos on their website, but this one definitely looks at least 40 (to me), and they have chest photos of models wearing C cup bras.

Personally though I can't wear their bras just because my b00bs are too low! Don't know if that's an age thing or not! But the band cuts into what's meant to be in the cups... not good!

And, like someone else pointed out, it's a casting call! They might already have cast an older model and need someone to 'play' her daughter. They're also looking for a plus-size model. How many catalogs feature those women? They're not looking for a size 0. I commend them for looking to our forum for their talent. They came to the right place.
