I think if you've tried the "natural"/do-it-yourself/homeopathic remedies, and the infection keeps recurring, it's time to try a prescription or over-the-counter remedy. (and really, is that any messier than self-treating with yogurt?)

Change/shower as soon as possible after riding, wash your shorts (and your other skivvies) in hot water, and treat the infection.

If you're still having problems, it's probably time to talk to your gyn.
