Anyone thinking about doing this one? http://www.tahoesierracentury.com/

It's a pretty, hilly ride that is for a great cause. They donate the money for the music programs in the middle and high schools.

I can't do it this year. I'll be working that day, but I recommend it for a good day in the mountains.

I was all registered and ready to go last year, but it got snowed out and they shut the roads partway through . . . Don't think I'll try again this year. WAY TO COLD for me! I'd rather ride in heat than freezing cold and I'm told that every year the ride starts out with below freezing temps. No way for me!

It is beautiful though, as I've ridden the same route during the summer. Very nice, and some challenging climbs in there as well!

I'm tentatively planning to do this ride. The deadline for early registration is 9/7 and I'm going to wait until that very day. I kind of want to see what the weather trends are looking like. I don't mind if it's a little chilly, but I don't want below freezing temps or snow!!! I'm sure the weather could go either way...heck, two days ago here it was over 90 degrees. Today it's 68. Go figure!
