We were at a LBS today and picked up one packet of Clif blocs to try since we will be taking longer rides this week - and the avg. temp will be 91. What type of distances are we talking for including the blocs? Up to this point our training rides have all been under 20 mi. and we have managed to get by with just the regular Clif bars, fruit, Gatorade and water. Do you all have any other recommendations for hydration/food on training rides? I have seen plenty of ideas when doing centuries, etc., but not too much for training ride nutrition.
